Dashing Thru the Snow

Christmas has arrived!! That darn Elfie Sneakins trapped the girls & Gavin in their room again this year to ensure they couldn't sneak out and take a peak before the parental units could arise and wake the kids up. Heaven says she was woken up by Santa himself shouting, "Ho Ho Ho" down the hall. As the day progressed on, this story turned more and more intense and by the end of the day both Heaven & Gavin  reported actually seeing Santa. These reports could not be confirmed or denied of course.

Gavin's big present this year was a Play Station. As he is REALLY into football right now, he can't wait to try his new College football game.

He got A TON of Gators stuff

The girls major gift was Taylor Swift tickets for her concert in Atlanta in April. They are so excited. They LOOOVE Taylor Swift!! They also have another present to be delivered by Santa after Christmas sometime.  Apparently Santa tried really hard for several hours on Christmas Eve, in the rain and cold wind to load this particular item onto his sleigh and it was determined professionals are needed....hmmm....I wonder what it could be?? Here are a few videos of the girls opening their package.

AB can't wait to try her DippinDots maker...Thanks Nana P

Heaven loves her some JB!

Christmas at Nana's

I got to spend a little bit with my Grandad today too. He was very excited, or excited for him anyway to get his gifts. He loved his FSU blanket and his Candy too!

Art in the Park

It has been a wonderfully rainy Saturday. We spent the majority of the day today holed up indoors in cozy clothes watching movies and trash TV. As a whole, it was blissful. Sure the kids were BORED ( I know, because they told me about 65 Bazillion times) but nothing beats a rainy afternoon movie marathon & an excuse to wear gym clothes all day long. Well...not much does anyway. Before the downpour started we ventured out to Art in the Park. Heaven was *so excited*. She loves art and was thrilled to have a chance to see "real" artwork and talk with some "real" artists ( I was a little offended she does not consider me a part of this "real" artist list...I mean, she's seen what I can do with some glitter glue). Mr. Eric Cobb was at the top of her list. He's been a Bestie of mine for years and is amazingly talented. If you're in the market for some palette knife artwork, you should check out his fabulousness  for yourself. Totally not the ...

Treaters

Here are the Branditos all ready to hit the streets trick or treating. We had a great time  & much to the kids pleasure came home with loads of candy. Of course their intake will be limited...but they haven't considered that just yet  (John already went through and claimed most of the kitkats) Gavin had trouble deciding exactly what he wanted to be this year. His top two picks, were Link from Zelda & a skeleton.  As you can see, in the end he decided on a skeleton. His costume was pretty cool & the bones were textured so you could feel them. The mask was short lived... thankfully... because honestly, it was a little scary... oh, and because it almost caused several accidents due to the limited visibility it provided. Heaven dressed as Abbey Bominable from Monster High. She's really into Monster High right now as I'm told it's very "cool" unfortunately her "cool" parents find most of the dolls a bit inappropriate, so really A...
