Spa Time!

Pretend it's January 26th..

Today we celebrated Annabelle's 8th Birthday with a Spa Party. We had planned to have the party at Fefe and Frogs, but they were closed for the weekend and so we did their "party to go package" instead. She had Ava and Carleigh spend the night last night & Lena joined the crew Saturday Morning. Donning their most fancy Pj's, the day began with face masks. I honestly just planned this as a photo opp but the girls took it SO seriously and requested cucumbers for their eyes as well. Except Ava that is...She didn't want anything to do with having pickles on her eyes. Those are her words, not mine.

My wonderful Step Mom, Paula talked 2 sweet Milton High Cheerleaders into coming over to help with the party. I am so thankful, because even with just a handful of girls, we struggled to get everything finished up before parents arrived. We had a nail station, a toe nail station, a hair station and then Disney channel and books & magazine for anyone waiting. We also did nail tattoos. The girls were so cute and felt so fancy!

We finished up with lunch, cake, and of course presents. Annabelle chose a Harry Potter cake. I was so proud!!

Yes, She loves sardines. ::sigh::

Art in the Park

It has been a wonderfully rainy Saturday. We spent the majority of the day today holed up indoors in cozy clothes watching movies and trash TV. As a whole, it was blissful. Sure the kids were BORED ( I know, because they told me about 65 Bazillion times) but nothing beats a rainy afternoon movie marathon & an excuse to wear gym clothes all day long. Well...not much does anyway. Before the downpour started we ventured out to Art in the Park. Heaven was *so excited*. She loves art and was thrilled to have a chance to see "real" artwork and talk with some "real" artists ( I was a little offended she does not consider me a part of this "real" artist list...I mean, she's seen what I can do with some glitter glue). Mr. Eric Cobb was at the top of her list. He's been a Bestie of mine for years and is amazingly talented. If you're in the market for some palette knife artwork, you should check out his fabulousness  for yourself. Totally not the ...

The Who's Who of Whoville

 The girls had their church Christmas Program this weekend. They performed at both morning services and were equally amazing each time around! They've been practicing for the mast few months, and all their hard work most definitely paid off.
