Cruise'n...

Here's a quick photo summary of our cruise. It was so wonderful....and I was very sad to get back to reality. I think we may have to add "room service" and "folding towel animals" to the kids chore board...

We started our vacation in Orlando with a visit to Universal's Island of Adventure theme park. We were especially excited about the "Wizarding World of Harry Potter" section hence the shirts..

First group cruise shot!

I love our travel agent :) She always gives up free champagne!

Fancy night on the cruise

Nassau

Fruity drinks in coconuts

There were SO MANY STINGRAYS in the water at Little Stirrup Cay!

The best dessert in the the whole wide world that has ever been created on earth. Ever.  One of the reasons I'm loyal to Carnival. Seriously. (Also because it's cheap...)

Enjoying a sunrise on our balcony

Paradise Cove, Freeport

Sunrise over Nassau
We finished our vacation with a visit to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. These are our scared faces....which I made most of the evening.

Art in the Park

It has been a wonderfully rainy Saturday. We spent the majority of the day today holed up indoors in cozy clothes watching movies and trash TV. As a whole, it was blissful. Sure the kids were BORED ( I know, because they told me about 65 Bazillion times) but nothing beats a rainy afternoon movie marathon & an excuse to wear gym clothes all day long. Well...not much does anyway. Before the downpour started we ventured out to Art in the Park. Heaven was *so excited*. She loves art and was thrilled to have a chance to see "real" artwork and talk with some "real" artists ( I was a little offended she does not consider me a part of this "real" artist list...I mean, she's seen what I can do with some glitter glue). Mr. Eric Cobb was at the top of her list. He's been a Bestie of mine for years and is amazingly talented. If you're in the market for some palette knife artwork, you should check out his fabulousness  for yourself. Totally not the ...

Treaters

Here are the Branditos all ready to hit the streets trick or treating. We had a great time  & much to the kids pleasure came home with loads of candy. Of course their intake will be limited...but they haven't considered that just yet  (John already went through and claimed most of the kitkats) Gavin had trouble deciding exactly what he wanted to be this year. His top two picks, were Link from Zelda & a skeleton.  As you can see, in the end he decided on a skeleton. His costume was pretty cool & the bones were textured so you could feel them. The mask was short lived... thankfully... because honestly, it was a little scary... oh, and because it almost caused several accidents due to the limited visibility it provided. Heaven dressed as Abbey Bominable from Monster High. She's really into Monster High right now as I'm told it's very "cool" unfortunately her "cool" parents find most of the dolls a bit inappropriate, so really A...
