Carb Loading...

I've heard of this diet called "Carb Loading" that's supposed to give you loads of energy. I think there was also something in the fine print about it being specifically for like Olympic's style athletes or something...but it seemed like a minor detail. The Mini's will be in Orlando this week to visit Aime. We decided to have a special send off with a carb filled dinner at Ozone's...or Pizza Castle as the kids call it.  O'zones is located in the old Sacred Heart Hospital and the girls especially, love checking out the upper floors! You can't go all the way up to the top, but the first few floors house different businesses. There are lots of creepy glasses cases with old hospital artifacts in them that the girls love checking out.

We got to sit in the "new" addition at Ozone's, which was wonderful, because as much as  I do love Ozone's it's always SUPER loud. The new side room allows you to have actual conversation, which is nice. Add in some delicious spinach dip & pizza....and you've got the perfect combination for a pretty stellar dinner!

Yes....we are those people who get a 1/2 this and 1/2 that on a pizza.

Yes, she did wear her sunglasses thru a majority of dinner.
After dinner, of course the kids NEEDED dessert, so since we were in the area we swung by Krispy Kreme. The "Hot Doughnuts" light was flashing.....how could we resist...
Sugar Fueled Cuties!

I think Annabelle has found her dream job....look at all that icing!

Guess which one is Annabelles?? I'll give you a hint, it's got sprinkles, AND chocolate, AND whipped icing....
John's would be the BORING ol plain one

Art in the Park

It has been a wonderfully rainy Saturday. We spent the majority of the day today holed up indoors in cozy clothes watching movies and trash TV. As a whole, it was blissful. Sure the kids were BORED ( I know, because they told me about 65 Bazillion times) but nothing beats a rainy afternoon movie marathon & an excuse to wear gym clothes all day long. Well...not much does anyway. Before the downpour started we ventured out to Art in the Park. Heaven was *so excited*. She loves art and was thrilled to have a chance to see "real" artwork and talk with some "real" artists ( I was a little offended she does not consider me a part of this "real" artist list...I mean, she's seen what I can do with some glitter glue). Mr. Eric Cobb was at the top of her list. He's been a Bestie of mine for years and is amazingly talented. If you're in the market for some palette knife artwork, you should check out his fabulousness  for yourself. Totally not the ...

Treaters

Here are the Branditos all ready to hit the streets trick or treating. We had a great time  & much to the kids pleasure came home with loads of candy. Of course their intake will be limited...but they haven't considered that just yet  (John already went through and claimed most of the kitkats) Gavin had trouble deciding exactly what he wanted to be this year. His top two picks, were Link from Zelda & a skeleton.  As you can see, in the end he decided on a skeleton. His costume was pretty cool & the bones were textured so you could feel them. The mask was short lived... thankfully... because honestly, it was a little scary... oh, and because it almost caused several accidents due to the limited visibility it provided. Heaven dressed as Abbey Bominable from Monster High. She's really into Monster High right now as I'm told it's very "cool" unfortunately her "cool" parents find most of the dolls a bit inappropriate, so really A...
