Seeing Stars.

Seriously...I mean, HOW cute are they??
Performance Day has arrived. The countless hours of practice surely paid off as both girls completely rocked the stage. Unfortunately, our parent preparedness did not pay off, as during crunch time my camera crapped out thus we have no video recorded & only one decent photo. We had really good seats, but of course, by the time the camera situation was straightened out, 2 adults moved right in front of Annabelle. So...I guess everyone will have to take by insanely unbiased opinion, that our Branditios, were certainly the best!

Heaven is in the top row with the enormous pink feather bow..Annabelle is blocked by the adults standing in the front row :(
Since the girls  performed so eloquently, the got to pick lunch. Much to Gavin & John's displeasure, they chose Chinese :)

Purdy Girl (I'm obsessed with these huge fluffy bows)

Art in the Park

It has been a wonderfully rainy Saturday. We spent the majority of the day today holed up indoors in cozy clothes watching movies and trash TV. As a whole, it was blissful. Sure the kids were BORED ( I know, because they told me about 65 Bazillion times) but nothing beats a rainy afternoon movie marathon & an excuse to wear gym clothes all day long. Well...not much does anyway. Before the downpour started we ventured out to Art in the Park. Heaven was *so excited*. She loves art and was thrilled to have a chance to see "real" artwork and talk with some "real" artists ( I was a little offended she does not consider me a part of this "real" artist list...I mean, she's seen what I can do with some glitter glue). Mr. Eric Cobb was at the top of her list. He's been a Bestie of mine for years and is amazingly talented. If you're in the market for some palette knife artwork, you should check out his fabulousness  for yourself. Totally not the ...

Treaters

Here are the Branditos all ready to hit the streets trick or treating. We had a great time  & much to the kids pleasure came home with loads of candy. Of course their intake will be limited...but they haven't considered that just yet  (John already went through and claimed most of the kitkats) Gavin had trouble deciding exactly what he wanted to be this year. His top two picks, were Link from Zelda & a skeleton.  As you can see, in the end he decided on a skeleton. His costume was pretty cool & the bones were textured so you could feel them. The mask was short lived... thankfully... because honestly, it was a little scary... oh, and because it almost caused several accidents due to the limited visibility it provided. Heaven dressed as Abbey Bominable from Monster High. She's really into Monster High right now as I'm told it's very "cool" unfortunately her "cool" parents find most of the dolls a bit inappropriate, so really A...
