Paint, Sand, Glitter & More

All that sand spilling gives me the shakes. Can't even handle it.
As everyone survived the family photo madness with success, we decided to check out the Greater Gulf Coast Art Festival on our way home. The girls got to do all sorts of crafty things (Gavin could have too of course but he was not interested) in the kids area.  They did sand art, made buttons, and even played around with some glitter. All things that definitely don't happen at home (unless you're in the wide open space known as the backyard that is)

She loves art and was thrilled to have a chance to see "real" artwork and talk with some "real" artists ( I was a little offended she does not consider me a part of this "real" artist list...I mean, she's seen what I can do with some glitter glue). Mr. Eric Cobb was at the top of her list. He's been a Bestie of mine for years and is amazingly talented. If you're in the market for some palette knife artwork, you should check out his fabulousness  for yourself. Totally not the ...

The Who's Who of Whoville

The girls had their church Christmas Program this weekend. They performed at both morning services and were equally amazing each time around! They've been practicing for the mast few months, and all their hard work most definitely paid off.
