Blogging: Take 100

The Lady Brandts Christmas  Nutcracker Tradition Continued This Year.  We'd planned to sit with some of our fellow Girl Scout troop in support of one of our girls that was cast in the ballet. Unfortunately she got sick last minute and we left scrambling for tickets. When I called (day of performance like a responsible parent) I just asked for the "best available" seats that would be good for kids. Turns out that meant front row. The girls were beyond excited, but sitting so close did make it hard to see at times due to the barrier they put up for the show. They were even happier this equated them being allowed to sit on their knees for a majority of the performance. I'm afraid I may have sat the bar a bit high for the future…..

Mary & The Angel

The kids had the option to dress up as their favorite Nativity character for Awana tonight. Gavin passed, but the girls were not about to pass up an opportunity for a little costume time. Introducing, Mary & The Angel

The Who's Who of Whoville

The girls had their church Christmas Program this weekend. They performed at both morning services and were equally amazing each time around! They've been practicing for the mast few months, and all their hard work most definitely paid off.
