Front Row….It literally means…FRONT ROW

The Lady Brandts Christmas Nutcracker Tradition Continued This Year.

We'd planned to sit with some of our fellow Girl Scout troop in support of one of our girls that was cast in the ballet. Unfortunately she got sick last minute and we left scrambling for tickets. When I called (day of performance like a responsible parent) I just asked for the "best available" seats that would be good for kids. Turns out that meant front row. The girls were beyond excited, but sitting so close did make it hard to see at times due to the barrier they put up for the show. They were even happier this equated them being allowed to sit on their knees for a majority of the performance. I'm afraid I may have sat the bar a bit high for the future…..

Stike'n Out

This is how I feel when I'm bowling & get a strike.  While our favorite Missourians were in town a few weeks back, we borrowed the mini's and went on a bowling outing. Let me get the most exciting news out of the way first...I got two strikes over the course of the evening. Yes, John got like a billion strikes   but that's not important  which is great, and also I was beaten by most of the kids which is also not important  but good times were had by all. We've decided that our Missourians need to just buck up and move back to Florida. Don't think humidity...think Beaches & No Snow.  Sissies

Mary & The Angel

The kids had the option to dress up as their favorite Nativity character for Awana tonight. Gavin passed, but the girls were not about to pass up an opportunity for a little costume time. Introducing, Mary & The Angel

Where Do The Days Go??

HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO US!!! This past year has literally flown by. I cannot believe it's been a year already!! It's definitely been a year of changes. Marriage is nothing like I expected and everything I imagined at the same time. Going from a single lady with 2 dogs, to a family of 5 with 3 furry friends, certainly hasn't always been easy, but it has been more rewarding than I could have ever believed. John has seen me at my best and my worst, and he's still by my side with a smile everyday. I am one lucky lady.  Here's to forever!!
