Dixon's Got Talent!!

You're looking at the one of the new additions to the SSDI Chorus!

This past Tuesday Gavin tried out for chorus. For try outs, the had to sing a few lines of "The Star Spangled Banner" & when he sang for the whole family at dinner...I knew he was serious!! I'm so, so, SO happy to see him interested in something & I'm hopeful that he will be excited to be a part of this group! He was very excited to tell us today, but of course he started out by tricking us and saying he hadn't made it. The girls let that last about a millisecond before blowing his surprise. He said they announced the winners over the morning announcements today...and he was sick to death of hearing "Congratulations" already!

The Who's Who of Whoville

The girls had their church Christmas Program this weekend. They performed at both morning services and were equally amazing each time around! They've been practicing for the mast few months, and all their hard work most definitely paid off.

Can Do Kids

Check out these AWESOME mid terms!! All A'for Annabelle and A/B's for Gavin and Heaven!!! Dang these kids are smart! Clearly I'm wearing off in them.....

Treaters

Here are the Branditos all ready to hit the streets trick or treating. We had a great time & much to the kids pleasure came home with loads of candy. Of course their intake will be limited...but they haven't considered that just yet (John already went through and claimed most of the kitkats) Gavin had trouble deciding exactly what he wanted to be this year. His top two picks, were Link from Zelda & a skeleton. As you can see, in the end he decided on a skeleton. His costume was pretty cool & the bones were textured so you could feel them. The mask was short lived... thankfully... because honestly, it was a little scary... oh, and because it almost caused several accidents due to the limited visibility it provided. Heaven dressed as Abbey Bominable from Monster High. She's really into Monster High right now as I'm told it's very "cool" unfortunately her "cool" parents find most of the dolls a bit inappropriate, so really A...
