Bahama Mama's

Did I mention we took a cruise to the Bahamas?

Well....We did, And I am SO sad to return to reality. It's been almost a week of being back and no one has cooked me a 3 course dinner, cleaned my bathroom, made my bed OR left me a towel animal with chocolates. I don't know if I can get used to this.

First stop, Freeport....Paradise Cove had the MOST fabulous snorkeling!

Me, John & My favorite North Dakota couple who cruised with us! :) Already planning a 2013 repeat!

The Gang @ The Queen's Staircase in Nassau

Lunch in Fish Fry-Nassau Bahamas

Pubic Beach in Nassau

Half Moon Cay. I could sure get used to this view....

Cheers!!

Seriously, I wanted to scream when I saw this. I fell in love with this dessert on our Honeymoon. Reuniting felt so right.

Doesn't this look like a Postcard?!!?? Our ship in Half Moon Cay.

Our travel agent is amazing and scored us a GREAT deal on a hotel with free Island of Adventure Ticket. I've been bragging about the Harry Potter section of this park to Kelan and Jessica since me and John went before our wedding. I was SO glad they were able to join us and experience it for themselves! Such a perfect way to end our trip!!
Me & Jess with the Hogwarts Express conductor

Harry Potter makes me gleeful.

Survival.

5 Boys > 2 Parents Sanity I'm not sure how it happened exactly...but after several days of recuperation, it appears we have survived the boy filled weekend. It was loud, it was messy at times, and it was most definitely chaotic...but overall...I'd say it was a fairly successful weekend for Gavin's big 1-1. Friday night he had 4 friends spend the night & though I had a mini stroke over a legitimate offer to spray paint part of our outside storage area, the boys had a blast. Gavin is really hung up on  Guthrie's  right now so we started the evening out with Guthrie's for dinner & then John, begin the brave (insane) loaded all the boys up and took them to see Ice Age.  They returned home with plenty of energy to burn & spent the rest of the evening playing outside and having video game battles. Thanks to my saint of sister who kept the girls, it was a boys only zone, and was undoubtably outnumbered.  The next morning, though they were up VERY late,...

The Who's Who of Whoville

The girls had their church Christmas Program this weekend. They performed at both morning services and were equally amazing each time around! They've been practicing for the mast few months, and all their hard work most definitely paid off.

Birthday Bash Numero Uno

Pretend It's January 5th, 2013 It's Birthday Season here at the Brandito Lair! Mr. Brandt heads back tomorrow and it's time for the annual triple treat birthday party for Mr. B, Uncle Danny and Annabelle.  Katy made 2 delicious cakes for the event. The boys got their own green cake and Annabelle got her own special Mario Cake.  We had some delicious food and the Birthday people got lots of special prizes!  The UnBirthday Party was definitely a success!
