Opa!

Greekness

I'm not entirely sure what Opa means, but there was quite a lot of it going on at the Greekfest this weekend. Us ladies and Michelle got our Greek on this weekend. Even though Greek food is one of my favorites, I didn't think the mini Brandts would appreciate it, so we decided to play it safe, and stick to just getting dessert.

We ran into Nana, Papa & Ava at the festival. The girls were thrilled to have another dance partner & hit the floor. Nana decided that the girls couldn't dance like true Greeks without jingle skirts. Needless to say, the girls agreed.

His top two picks, were Link from Zelda & a skeleton.  As you can see, in the end he decided on a skeleton. His costume was pretty cool & the bones were textured so you could feel them. The mask was short lived... thankfully... because honestly, it was a little scary... oh, and because it almost caused several accidents due to the limited visibility it provided. Heaven dressed as Abbey Bominable from Monster High. She's really into Monster High right now as I'm told it's very "cool" unfortunately her "cool" parents find most of the dolls a bit inappropriate, so really A...
